About: Taking place July 1st, the festival will include the popular Canada Day parade! The event attracts about 80,000 attendees every year right in the heart of Steveston.
One of the highlights of the festival is of course the salmon bake. Available beginning at 11am, over 1,200 pounds of salmon get grilled over large fire pits. Each meal costs $22 and comes with a dinner roll, potato salad, chips, and a drink (bottled water or soda).

About: Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) interweaves a kaleidoscope of elements – setting, scenery, concessions, and quality art – into a fun, encompassing experience much greater than the sum of its parts. Survival of the Slowest at the Vancouver Aquarium

About: Junction Public Market has returned to downtown Vancouver! This market is a unique marketplace created with customized shipping containers featuring rotating pop-ups, local artisans, food vendors, a bar and a live entertainment space.

About: Movies will play every Thursday from July 3rd to August 14th and are organized by the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association (DVBIA).
Movies are played on a 33-foot inflatable screen and begin at sundown each evening. Before each movie, crowds will get to enjoy live music, performances, games, food trucks, photo booths, and more!

About: The 2025 festival is being headlined by global music icons Tiësto and Zedd. After a successful event last year, organizers are expanding their lineup from 48 artists last year to 60 artists this year.
“We’re beyond excited to return to Holland Park on July 4 + 5 for FVDED in the Park 2025! We’re coming back with a stacked all-dance music lineup, and we can’t wait to make new memories together in the park,” said organizers on social media.

About: The popular night market was founded in 2000, and attracts over a million visitors a year with its delicious lineup of international cuisine, entertainment, and more! The first night market was held at the Continental Centre on Cambie Road before becoming must-see attraction each year.
This year is extra special for the Richmond Night Market as its their 25th anniversary. To celebrate, night market visitors have the opportunity to take a ride on a 600-ft long zipline high above all the dazzling lights and energy of the market.

City of Burnaby
About: Canada Day celebrations are being held at Edmonds Plaza and Park and Burnaby Village Museum beginning at 11am.
StreetFest on Central will have a family zone with kids’ entertainment and activities at Civic Square, food trucks and a live concert. The event starts at 6:30 pm and ends with fireworks finale in Central Park at 10:15 pm.
