A 53-year-old woman has died after being hit by a vehicle in Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighbourhood last month.
Police say a grey Mazda CX-5 collided with a white Toyota Prius near Balsam Street and West 4th Avenue on October 19 at around 6:45 pm.
“As the two vehicles slid through the intersection, two pedestrians standing on the southeast corner were struck,’ said Cst. Tania Visintin in a statement.

A 53-year-old woman and 48-year-old man were taken to hospital. At the time to the collision, their injuries did not appear life threatening. After being admitted to hospital, the condition of the 53-year-old woman worsened and she died from her injuries on October 25th.
No one inside the two vehicles were injured.
