A cyclist is dead following a collision in East Vancouver Thursday afternoon.
Just before 12:30pm today, the driver of a five-tonne delivery truck collided with a cyclist, a man in his 60s, near Kingsway and Nanaimo Street.
“Despite life-saving attempts by first responders, the cyclist died at the scene,” said the VPD in a release.
The driver remained at the scene.
To help with the investigation, police are seeking witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.
