A driver in Abbotsford was slapped with a hefty fine after being caught speeding in a school zone.
The Abbotsford Police Department recently caught a driver going 97 km/h in a school zone. As a result of being pulled over, the driver received $483 ticket for excessive speeding and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Simple equation:
97km/hr in 30km/hr school zone = $483 + 7 day car

Many users think the driver should have received a more serious punishment.
