Lane closures are in effect currently on the Alex Fraser Bridge to assist with “winter operations”.
Drive BC shared a tweet at 3:15 pm, saying that “right lane closures are going in for both directions”.
It is unclear at this moment when the lanes will open again.
On Monday afternoon, Environment Canada issued a special weather statement for Metro Vancouver that says up to 10 cm of snow could fall on parts of the region by Tuesday morning.
