The modern Vietnamese restaurant first opened their Richmond location back in 2016. Owner Lan Do opened her restaurant with the goal of providing authentic Vietnamese, through traditional techniques and classic recipes.

If you’re not in the mood for banh mi, they have 3 pho variations to help satisfy your cravings, like their signature beef tenderloin bone marrow pho (made with 24-hour bone broth). They achieve their rich broth flavours with a process that takes 2 days to achieve.

White Rock welcomes Banh Mi Tres Bon
As Banh Mi Tres Bon prepares to celebrate the 7th anniversary of their Richmond location this weekend, Lan opened up her second Banh Mi Tres Bon in White Rock this past spring.
“When I saw the location in White Rock, it was like love at first sight and one of our local fans helped affirm that” said owner Lan Do. Lan highlighted the uniqueness of White Rock’s local community and how eager she is to serve her unique dishes to a brand new community.

“What inspired me to open our second location in White Rock was the growing community and the great people that call it home. I wanted to introduce our food and our concept to locals in White Rock who may have never tried Vietnamese cuisine before.”
Located at 1459 Johnston Road, Banh Mi Tres Bon’s White Rock restaurant is roughly 2,000 sq. ft big, and has a combined 70 seats inside and out on their patio.

While their White Rock location has a number of classic dishes that many have grown to love over the years, they do have a few exclusive menu items you won’t find anywhere else. Caramelized fish sauce brussels sprouts and Duck Confit Bao await at their White Rock outpost.

Of course, your favourite appetizers, banh mi’s, spring rolls, noodle dishes, and desserts are all available. Both locations also feature an assortment of hot and cold drinks, including Vietnamese coffee and yummy cocktails that pair perfectly with their dishes. Banh Mi Tres Bon’s White Rock location is open Sunday to Wednesday from 11am to 8pm and Thursday to Saturday from 11am to 9pm.
