Winter is coming and it’s going to be cold across BC.
According to The Farmers’ Almanac, BC’s upcoming winter season has a “chilling forecast”.
They add that “winter will be colder than average,” and that the coldest periods will be in early December, and early and mid-January.
What about snow?
“Precipitation in southern B.C. will be below average. Snowfall will also be lighter than expected, with the snowiest periods in late November, early December, early January, early to mid-February, and early March,” says the Farmers’ Almanac.
While local skiers and snowboarders are hoping for lots of snow this season, others are dreading the ugly road conditions and frigid temperatures.
The first day of winter is Saturday, December 21st, 2024.
