Delays along the Canada Line network are causing major headaches for commuters Friday afternoon.

TransLink first shared news about the delays at 2:23pm.

#SkyTrain Canada Line is experiencing delays, hold in place between Marine Dr Stn & Waterfront Stn. Trains are operating between Bridgeport <-> YVR and Bridgeport <-> Brighouse. Bus Bridge between Marine Dr Stn & Waterfront Stn.Expo & Millennium Line are unaffected. ^DA

As of 4:47pm, it appears the issue hasn’t been resolved yet and in fact has spread more. TransLink now says the Canada Line is single tracking between Waterfront and King Edward stations.

#SkyTrain UPDATE: Canada Line is single tracking between Waterfront and King Edward stations. Platform 2 is closed. Please board trains from Platform 1. Passengers traveling to/from Bridgeport Station will need to transfer trains in order to continue their journey. ^at

It is unclear at this time how long the delays will persist.
