Hockey fans across the Lower Mainland were out in full force last night to celebrate the team’s 4-2 victory over the Nashville Predators. The excitement was especially evident at the intersection of Scott Road and 72 Avenue.
It’s been nine years since the Canucks have hosted a home playoff game and fans always come out to this intersection for a celebration like no other in Metro Vancouver.
Fans came out in full force with their Canucks jerseys and flags, chanting “Go Canucks Go”. At least one fan was seen carrying an inflatable Stanley Cup.
