Police are searching for a suspect following an indecent act at a public washroom in a Burnaby park.
At 7pm on August 19th, officers responded to a report of an indecent act in a public washroom on the west side of Central Park.
The victim reported that while using the men’s washroom, a man stood beside him and began masturbating.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern man, 35 to 40 years old, approximately 5’10” tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a black T-shirt, multi-coloured shorts, and a fanny pack over his shoulder.

“Investigators are working to gather evidence in an effort to identify the suspect and will be looking for any potential connections to previously reported incidents,” said the department in a release.
“Police want to ensure the public is aware of this incident, so they can take appropriate safety precautions, including remaining aware of their surroundings and immediately reporting any suspicious activity.”
