Filmmakers and industry professionals from across the globe are set to converge on the Fraser Valley this fall.
The Chilliwack Independent Film Festival (CIFF) returns for a ninth season from Wednesday, October 22nd to Sunday, October 26th, 2025. The five-day festival will feature exclusive movie premieres, industry events and workshops .
118 short and feature-length independent films that hail from Canada and around the world in a variety of genres will be shown at three different locations.
Opening night features Fraser Valley-centric films at The Grand Hall, a powerful Chilliwack-filmed and -produced documentary on the opioid crisis, and a special screening of the cult-favourite film Creep.

The festival wraps up with a gala ceremony on Sunday, October 26 at The Grand Hall, where more than $15,000 in prizes will be awarded.
