A cyclist remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a serious collision in Kitsilano earlier this week.
The 36-year-old was riding her bike north on Maple Street at West 4th Avenue on March 18th when she was struck by the driver of a Toyota Venza in the intersection.
Police say the collision occurred just before 9:30am.
“The cyclist’s leg was trapped under the car, and required Vancouver Fire Rescue Services to use the jaws of life to rescue her,” said Cst. Tania Visintin in a release.
