A man was sent to hospital after a daylight shooting in Langley Saturday afternoon.
Langley RCMP responded to an “assault incident” in the 5400 block of Brydon Crescent just after 12:30pm yesterday.
Responding officers located the victim and evidence consistent with a shooting. A 27-year-old man was transported to hospital for further assessment.
“The investigation is still in its early stages and Police are working to determine the possible motive for the shooting,” said Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. “At this time, the incident appears to be targeted, and there is no ongoing risk to the public.”
