Playoff hockey is returning to Vancouver for the first time in nine years and one Metro Vancouver city is hosting FREE Vancouver Canucks playoff watch parties.
The City of Delta announced Friday it will be hosting free, family-friendly outdoor watch parties for every game during the Canucks’ postseason run.
The playoff watch parties will be held at the Social Heart Plaza. The first watch party is on Sunday, April 21st at 7pm when the Canucks take on the Nashville Predators in game 1.
“It’s been nine years since our community has had the opportunity to come together in-person and cheer on the Canucks in the playoffs,” said Mayor George V. Harvie.
“We’re thrilled to provide this platform for residents to gather in Delta and show their support for our team. We encourage everyone to join us at Social Heart Plaza and be part of the excitement as we rally behind the Canucks during their playoff journey.”
