A Vancouver spot known for its unique twist on authentic Indian food has introduced new happy hour features.
Desi Indian Lounge now offers a twice-daily happy hour food and drink menu full of tasty bites and drinks.
Available daily from 2:30pm to 5:30pm and 9:30pm to close, enjoy a choice of Paneer or Chicken Thepla Tacos, Nachos, Chili and Momos ($9/$10 each), Gobi Manchurian and Shimla Kebabs ($9), and Chicken Lollipops and Kerala Pepper Chicken for $10 each.

Their happy hour menu also includes signature, hand-crafted cocktails for $20 such as the “Valley of Desserts” (yogurt-washed Amrut, Fino sherry, salted cumin syrup, cumin foam), “Harvest Reverie” (Nodo tequiliana, sour carrot, cardamom syrup, cardamom bitters), “Bengal Martini” (Tanqueray No. 10 gin, Panch Phoron vermouth, bay leaf tea, olive achar), “Crimson Beach” (Ron Zacapa 23 rum, Campari, coconut lemongrass cordial), “Golden Shores” (Akvavit, banana liqueur, lemon, turmeric, egg white) and “City of Dreams” (Masala Chai Ketel One vodka, sour mango, soda).
Other drink specials include a selection of BC Craft Beer for $5 per sleeve, 6oz pours of House Red or White Wine for $7, and Mango or Strawberry Mojitos for $6.50 each.
