A man in a wheelchair was “stabbed multiple times” in the neck by a stranger in downtown Vancouver over the weekend.
The incident happened just before 10am on Saturday near West Hastings and Carrall Streets.
The suspect, a high-risk dangerous offender, tried to run away but was quickly arrested by officers who were in the area.

Police say the 34-year-old victim uffered non-life-threatening injuries.
