Police in Richmond pulled over a driver last week for going double the speed limit.
Richmond RCMP’s Road Safety Unit stopped an Hyundai Ioniq 5 going 124 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

The driver was fined $368 and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.
“In addition to the $ 368 fine + 7-day impoundment, the driver also has to explain to their boss + the customer why their vehicle is impounded,’ reads the post from police.
