Police in Delta pulled over a driver last week for going more than double the speed limit.
The Delta Police Department’s Traffic Unit stopped a vehicle that was travelling nearly 2.5 times the posted speed limit at Deltaport. The driver was fined $483 for excessive speeding and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.

“Excessive speeding is not only illegal but extremely dangerous,” said the Delta Police Department on X.
