On Wednesday night, police pulled over a drunk driver in Abbotsford who made their child blow into the car’s breathalyzer device to start the vehicle.
“Last night, during a proactive traffic stop, a driver admitted to members that they made their child blow into the ignition interlock system installed in the vehicle.”

The driver was issued a a 90-day immediate roadside prohibition and also got their car impounded. Police also contacted the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
