Bear Creek Lights 2024
One of Metro Vancouver’s most dazzling light displays returns to Surrey this November. The 12th annual Bear Creek Lights runs from Saturday, November 2nd to Saturday, November 16th.
This year’s festival allows visitors to see “nature shine with a series of beautiful light displays”. Visitors will be dazzled with illuminated natural landscapes, whimsically lit creatures and stunning photo opportunities.
People all ages are welcome to see the family-friendly light display throughout Bear Creek Park’s one-kilometre garden walking loop.

This year, organizers are introducing a new event space located at the spray park, which is marked by the giant lit tree. This area will have an assortment of family-friendly activities and food trucks for when you’re hungry.
Those who want a closer look at nature can take part in the Guided Nocturnal Nature Walk. Discover nocturnal animals such as raccoons, owls, bears and bats and learn how they survive at night on this family-friendly, illuminated nighttime nature walk. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
