Big 80’s Run Burnaby 2024
The “coolest run in town” is hosting its inaugural event in Burnaby this March. Get your groove on and join hundreds for the Big 80’s Run on Saturday, March 9th.
Hosted by the Big Fun Run Series, this themed run offers a 1km dash at 1pm and a 5km loop at 2pm around scenic Central Park.
The course is suitable for all ages and abilities including strollers and leashed dogs. With few inclines, and mainly paved paths, participants are assured a beautiful and accessible run, jog or walk.
Participants will each receive an 80’s-themed costume item, a personalized running bib with your own custom “musical name” and a souvenir.

- 12pm: Check-in opens
- 12:45pm: 1km warm up
- 1pm: 1km starts
- 1:40pm: 1km route closed
- 1:40pm: Awards
- 1:45pm: 5km warm up
- 2pm: 5km starts
- 4pm: Route closed
