Car-Free Day New West 2023
One of New Westminster’s annual street parties is returning this July and organizers have put together an exciting lineup of things to check out. Car-Free Day Downtown New West is happening on Saturday, July 29th along Columbia Street.
Hosted by hosted by the Downtown New West BIA and the City of New Westminster, this FREE community street party helps promote a car-free culture and gives locals a unique opportunity to discover what their city has to offer.

Presented by TransLink, the event will have live music, artisan vendors, family-friendly activities, food trucks, and much more!
The event takes place along Columbia Street (between 4th Street and 8th Street) and attendees will discover a number of extended patios and booth to check out.
Live performances by Royal, Dani Camacho, and many more are planned throughout the day.
