A magical Fraser Valley neighbourhood straight out of a fairytale is set to light up for the holiday season this weekend.
Christmas at District 1881 returns to Chilliwack on Saturday, November 15th with the lighting of a 40 ft. Christmas tree to help you get into the holiday spirit.
District 1881 is a historic enclave and vibrant commercial hub, making it feel like you’re walking through the street of Europe.
The festivities kick off on Saturday, November 15th when District 1881’s 40 ft. Christmas tree lights up. The festivities kick off at 5pm with festive music, treats, and a few special surprises planned throughout the evening.
The Christmas tree and magical holiday lights will remain on until December 24th.

Then on November 29th, check out the Rotary Parade Party as it makes its way through District 1881. The fun will keep going before and after the parade with live entertainment, games, and prizes! Comedian Cliff Prang (3pm to 5pm) and DJ Simon Bridgefoot (7pm to 8pm) will keep the energy high all evening long!
Starting November 30th, bring your kids and four legged friends to meet Santa Claus! Guests are invited to bring their Christmas wish list and cameras to capture the magical moments. Photo sessions from Friday to Sunday are $40, and are by donation from Tuesday to Thursday. Pet pictures can be taken from 12pm to 8pm on Wednesdays.
