Forestridge Haunted Yard 2024

A local Coquitlam resident has transformed the front of their home into a “haunted Halloween yard” and it’s for a good cause.

The Forestridge Haunted Yard is now open daily from 6pm to 10pm until October 31st.

Located at 2988 Forestridge Place in Coquitlam, Marlene Bilesky says she been involved in helping raise money for Variety, The Children’s Charity, for over 30 years.

“After receiving various responses from the community, we have decided to continue the Halloween tradition. Thanks to the amazing community we raised $5,000 for Variety, the Children’s Charity last year,” reads a GoFundMe page set up by Bilesky.

As for the display itself, it’s quite spooky.

Marlene says their display is “bigger and better than last year”. Live monsters will also be present to create a more “spooky experience” for visitors.
