Grave Tales Fort Langley 2024
There’s a spooky and spine-chilling experience awaiting you in Langley this October. Grave Tales returns to Fort Langley National Historic Site from October 4 to 27, 2024.
Join their expert storytellers for a program of spine-chilling stories, as you walk through the Fort Langley village at night. Guides will even lead you through graveyards and make you feel like you’re walking among ghosts.
“This exclusive after-dark tour is perfect for history enthusiasts or anyone looking for an unforgettable night of storytelling and exploration,” reads their event page.

A youth edition of the tour is available on October 17 and 14, and begins as early as 6:30pm. For this year, there are three tour options for those 18+ and who are brave enough to see what lurks in the shadows.
The Spirit of the Place tour involves minimal walking most of the tour happens indoors or around the outdoor fire pit (weather permitting). The two-hour Graves of the Tradesmen tour takes place from 8pm to 10pm (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays).
For those who want an even scarier experience, there’s an extended three-hour adult edition tour that begins at 9pm and goes until midnight (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays). It’s described a “intense 4 km walking tour” through the Village of Fort Langley that includes themes like suicide, murder, and historic medical procedures.
