Halloween Fright Festival at Maan Farms
The team over at Maan Farms has been busy coming up with new ways to scare visitors this year, and have announced a new Halloween festival for 2025.
The Fraser Valley farm’s first ever Halloween Fright Festival will be taking place from Saturday, September 27th to Saturday, November 1st.
According to a media release, visitors can expect “new interactive elements and intense psychological torment” to make their popular Halloween attractions that much more scarier.

Maan Farms
“Every year, we aim to reimagine our farm, and we feel that we have added layers of atmosphere and performance, making this our most immersive season yet,” says farmer Amir Maan.
Slaughterhouse, dubbed the “scariest corn maze in Canada,” returns with a sharper edge! You come face to face with a brutal butcher, wielding a bloodstained chainsaw, as you scream for your life.
The Way Down forces you into suffocating darkness as you’re blinded by hoods. Unsettling sounds of footsteps and shadow beasts will have you begging for a way out before realizing you must make it through Pitch Black.
For 2025, Homestead has been transformed into a 3D CarnEvil experience. A first in BC, 3D glasses will create a “hallucinogenic effect” as the carnival comes to life with bending walls and ultraviolet puppetry from places you never knew existed.
“The driving inspiration behind the fright festival was to extend the magic of Halloween beyond a single night, reminiscent of childhood nostalgia where we gathered with our friends, wandering the streets in costumes, feeling spooked by the lurking darkness,” adds Amir Maan.
Last year’s Forest Pumpkin Patch experience is back this year as the Frightfully Fun Forest Pumpkin Patch with strung lights, mist-shrouded tree, and a life-size mushroom house. Talk about the perfect Halloween photo op!
Once the sun goes down, stage shows will play on rotation along the wine garden, Midway, and the Frightfully Fun Forest Pumpkin Patch.
A visit to Maan Farms isn’t complete without trying their yummy food and drink options. Favourites such as butter chicken and chickpea curry bowls, samosas, and seasonal-flavoured pizzas will be available. Desserts include freshly-popped kettle corn, Double Pumpkin Spice Cream, and Apple Pie Samosas.
If you’re looking for something a bit spookier, the drink lineup features the new Witches Brew, a bubbling cocktail with smoking dry ice, wine blood bags, and Mad Pumpkin and Mad Apple spice wines.

Maan Farms
“Every corner of the festival is built to start with a surprise, transition to a delight and, for the brave, culminate in a sense of horror.”
Tickets go on sale beginning Friday, August 29th, and can be purchased online here.
