Italian Day on the Drive 2024
One of Vancouver’s most popular street festivals is back again this June.
Italian Day on the Drive is set to return on Sunday, June 9th, promising a fun street party for everyone in attendance!
The 2024 theme for the 14 block cultural street festival is “STORIA” – meaning history or story in Italian.

“The significance of this year’s theme is that history creates memories, generating emotional connections with the ability to transcend generations via storytelling, keeping traditions and important values alive, while bridging the past with the present,” reads their event website.
Italian Day on the Drive draws hundreds of thousands of attendees each year who come out to enjoy live entertainment, artisan merchants, food vendors and much more.

It’s an event that sees The Drive come alive in the style of Italy’s vibrant streets and piazzas as the smell of delicious Italian cuisine fills the air. Vendors will be offering food and drink options throughout the event and attendees can soak up the atmosphere at al fresco patios lining the streets.
