Richmond Sunflower Festival 2023

One of Richmond’s most exciting summer activities is opening up again this August. The fourth annual Richmond Sunflower Festival is set to open for the 2023 summer season on Saturday, August 5th, 2023.

Located at Richmond Country Farms, just East of highway 99, visitors will enjoy a walk-through experience that includes a magical 20-acre field of over 90 different types of Sunflowers, Dahlias, Gladiolas and Wild Flowers.

As you walk through the fields, you’ll come across plenty of opportunities to get that perfect Instagram photo, which includes their unique flower wagon! Their popular wagon rides are also returning this year and will be running daily.

Feeling a little hot or need a snack? Purchase a cool drink from the lemonade stand, grab mini doughnuts and check out the other local food truck vendors that’ll be on-site.

Firs introduced in 2022, join a yoga class in the Dahlia fields on Thursday evenings. If yoga isn’t for you, head over to Country Vines to enjoy tasting flights.

This year, the festival has decided to stay open a little later so you can capture that magical sunset photo.

Here are this year’s hours:

  • Weekdays: 1pm to 8pm
  • Weekends and holidays: 10 am to 8pm

Tickets go on sale on Friday, July 28th at 8am on their website.
