Summer Movie Nights 2024
šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square (north plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery) will once again be the spot to watch free outdoor movies in downtown Vancouver this summer.
The movies will play every Thursday from July 4th to August 15th and are organized by the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association (DVBIA).
Movies are played on a 16-foot inflatable screen and begin at sundown each evening. Before each movie, crowds will get to enjoy face painting, stilt walkers, drag performances, mini-golf, live music, and more!

Food trucks will be on-site each week as crowds gather to watch popular movies right in the heart of downtown.
Some seating is available but it is first come, first serve. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating and blankets to stay warm.

- July 4 – Barbie
- July 11 – The Devil Wears Prade
- July 18 – Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
- July 25 – The Princess Bride
- August 1 – Mamma Mia!
- August 8 – Knives Out
- August 15 – Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Performances and art activities begin at 5pm each night, and movies will start around 9pm (close to sunset).
