Surrey Canada Day 2023
Western Canada’s largest Canada Day event is returning to Surrey this July 1st.
Surrey’s annual Canada Day event is once again taking place at the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre in Cloverdale.
This free, family-friendly event includes a diverse lineup of performers, live entertainment, amusement rides, food trucks, and to cap off the day, a dazzling fireworks display at 10:15pm.

Attendees will also discover the Indigenous Village, where you can learn about Indigenous culture through music, dance, storytelling, workshops and art. The Indigenous Village will have a 30 ft. teepee with workshops and storytelling, an Indigenous market, and a lineup of Indigenous performers on the Siam Stage.
Surrey Canada Day is being headlined by Canadian creative collective and indie-rock band Broken Social Scene and will also feature feature performances by Crown Lands and Neon Dreams.
“On behalf of Surrey City Council, it is my pleasure to invite residents and visitors to come be a part of the largest Canada Day event in Western Canada,” said Mayor Brenda Locke.
“Attendees can enjoy a full day of free entertainment, including performances by Broken Social Scene, Crown Lands, and Neon Dreams, as well as fireworks, amusement rides, family activities, and food trucks. Canada Day is a time to both celebrate and reflect on this great country we call home and there is no better place to do that than at Surrey’s Canada Day party. I hope to see you all there.”
Surrey Canada Day is being held on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Salish Peoples, including the q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen), and sǝmyámǝ (Semiahmoo) land-based Nations.
