Vancouver Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration 2023
One of downtown Vancouver’s most beloved holiday attractions is returning this December. See Vancouver’s massive 76 ft. tall Christmas tree light up for the holiday season on Friday, December 1st at the 17th annual Vancouver Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration.
Beginning at 6pm, come out and see the city’s largest Christmas tree come to life at šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square (formerly the Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza).

Presented by Amacon, the Christmas tree has remained lit into January in previous years. Over 100,000+ combined viewers are expected both in-person and through a live stream.
The tree lighting celebration will also feature musical entertainment, free hot chocolate, meet and greet with Santa Claus, and much more!
