VanDusen Festival of Lights 2023
One of Vancouver’s most popular holiday attractions is returning for another magical season. VanDusen Festival of Lights is transforming the botanical garden into a winter wonderland from Friday, November 24th, 2023 – Sunday, January 7th, 2024.
Guests will discover more than one million lights decorating 15 acres of VanDusen Botanical Garden. Stroll along the lakeside and get in the holiday spirit with the return of Dancing Lights.

A glowing display “inspired by the vibrant colours and unique plants” and “animals from BC’s endangered Garry oak meadows” will wow crowds each night.

Make sure you stop by the Scottish Shelter to light a candle and donate to Make-A-Wish. Themed areas, tasty treats, unique light features, and holiday music all await you at VanDusen this holiday season.
Neurodiverse individuals, their families, and caretakers are invited to enjoy VanDusen’s magical holiday lights during a sensory-friendly night on November 28th.
Tickets go on sale starting Wednesday, November 1st. Tickets must be purchased online in advance for a designated entry time.
