A fatal crash involving a motorcycle has closed all the eastbound lanes on Highway 1 in Langley Thursday morning.
Langley RCMP was notified of a serious motor vehicle collision in the eastbound lanes of Highway 1 at 240 Street at 4:20am this morning.
Investigators believe a car and a motorcycle were travelling east on the Highway when they collided.
“Unfortunately, the driver of the motorcycle succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision,” said Cpl. Craig van Herk in a release.

Highway 1 remains closed eastbound between 232 Street and 264 Street as the investigation continues.
Witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage is asked to call Langley RCMP at 604 532-3200 and quote file number 2024-30281.
