The Vancouver Canucks are back in the playoffs and while the majority of people celebrated last night’s thrilling victory safely, some Canucks fans got into a fight near Rogers Arena.
A video sent in to Anywhere Vancouver shows three people donning Canucks gear getting into a fight outside of Parq Vancouver Casino Resort, which is about a 10 minute walk from Rogers Arena.
The video shows one person on the ground as two other individuals involved in the altercation land vicious blows during the 51-second video.
While one of the individuals hitting the person on the ground steps back after a couple seconds, the other person involved continues to hit and even kick the person still on the ground. A fourth person presumed to be with the group eventually steps in and helps to end the fight.
Police were notified of the incident and at least two police cars were seen responding to the altercation. It’s unclear what started the fight and how the individuals know each other.
