About: The popular night market was founded in 2000, and attracts over a million visitors a year with its delicious lineup of international cuisine, entertainment, and more! This year’s theme is “Little Wonder World,” and attendees can make their way through more than 500 food options.

With the FIFA World Cup coming to town, this year’s market will even feature a massive soccer display.

Sunday Shucking Pop-Ups

About: Copperpenny Distilling Co. will welcome tide-to-table destination Fanny Bay Oyster Bar and Shellfish Market to host a new series of Sunday Shucking Pop-Ups. Happening on March 22nd, April 12th, May 10th (Mother’s Day) and May 31st, the events will help bring together oyster aficionados and cocktail enthusiasts alike.

At each event, Fanny Bay master shucker Hannah Nguyen will serve up premium oyster varieties and seasonally inspired Shucker’s Choice selections for $21 a half dozen or $39 a dozen. As for drinks, the Copperpenny bar team will offer a curated menu of gin-based libations created especially for the occasion.

Shuck For The Ocean by Ocean Wise

About: Shuck for the Ocean is a fundraiser being held at Fanny Bay Oyster Bar & Shellfish Market that’s dedicated to sustainable seafood. In partnership with Ocean Wise and Vancouver Island Brewing, this event brings together Vancouver’s oyster shucking community for a high-energy competition alongside fresh B.C. oysters, local brews, and engaging conversations around ocean conservation.

The event will also include engaging educational talks from Ocean Wise and leading industry experts, along with raffles, exciting prizes, and a silent auction. A portion of every ticket sold supports Ocean Wise.
