Kobe Japanese Steakhouse
Kobe Japanese Steakhouse has introduced a new nightly izakaya menu with cocktail features and fresh dishes. Some of the dishes on their new menu include Edamame with pink Himalayan salt, Ebi Mayo Prawns, Chicken Karaage, Dynamite Roll, Yellowfin Tuna Sashimi, and Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice.
A handful of creative cocktails are also featured on the new menu. Curated by Bar Manager Eddie O’Reilly, guests can pair their food with Japanese Gin & Juice, Matcha Moonlight, and Green Dragon Margarita to name just a few.

Fanny Bay Oysters x Copperpenny Distillery Co.
One of Fanny Bay’s most popular events is back for Mother’s Day! Fanny Bay Oyster Pop-Ups are held at Copperpenny Distillery throughout the year. Join the fun as the Fanny Bay team shucks three select oyster varieties on-site, while Copperpenny pours their celebrated No. 006 Oyster Shell Gin.

Desi Indian Lounge Afternoon Tea
Celebrate Mother’s Day with Vancouver’s only Indian food-inspired high tea. This special afternoon features your choice of Masala Chai, Indian Coffee, or a summer refresher, paired with a beautifully presented stand for two guests including two pieces each of mango pastry, milk chocolate hazelnut cake, Gajar Halwa tart, dhokla, vada bao, pav bhaji bruschetta, and paneer or chicken tikka croissants, served with tamarind and green pea chutneys.

Richmond Night Market
About: The popular night market was founded in 2000, and attracts over a million visitors a year with its delicious lineup of international cuisine, entertainment, and more! The first night market was held at the Continental Centre on Cambie Road before becoming must-see attraction each year.
This year is extra special for the Richmond Night Market as its their 25th anniversary. To celebrate, night market visitors have the opportunity to take a ride on a 600-ft long zipline high above all the dazzling lights and energy of the market.

“Art of Teppanyaki” menu at Kobe
About: Kobe Japanese Steakhouse is showcasing its signature and time-honoured approach to Teppanyaki-focused fare served with flair by debuting a new “Art of Teppanyaki”.
Available from March 24 to May 31, the menu features appetizers (seasonal vegetables, grilled shrimp, Shabu Shabu soup), flame-kissed and butter-basted tiger prawns, premium-cut sirloin steak and tender teriyaki chicken, sautéed bean sprouts, steamed Japanese rice and artisanal gelato for dessert for only $58 per person.

Every Thursday evening starting Thursday ,May 1st, D6 turns up the heat with the return of their jaw-dropping Fire Shows on the patio. As the sun sets, the space transforms into an outdoor stage where two talented fire dancers light up the night with acts like fire poi, fire juggling, and a stunning array of flame-wielding tricks.

BAE SIDE @Mahony’s False Creek Soft Opening
Bae Side, a pop up concept, that has taken over the space that used to house Mahony’s on False Creek, is celebrating Mother’s Day with two dishes during their soft opening.
The first is the Bae Side Salad, made with mixed green lettuce, strawberries, assorted berries, beets, sesame seeds, and green apple, served with your choice of protein such as chicken thigh, prawns, seared salmon, or grilled tuna. The second dish is the Bae Side Lamb Chops, featuring tender grilled lamb chops marinated to perfection.
