A Baltimore bridge has collapsed after being hit by a cargo ship in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A cargo ship crashed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge, a steel arch-shaped continuous through truss bridge spanning the lower Patapsco River and outer Baltimore Harbor/Port.
At the time of the collision, multiple vehicles were seen on the bridge. According to reports, rescue workers are looking for at least seven people after multiple vehicles fell into the water after the collision.

Baltimore Mayor Brandon M. Scott said he is “aware of and en route to the incident at the Key Bridge”.
