Free outdoor movies are returning to downtown Vancouver this summer.
Vancouver’s free outdoor movies lineup is returning to šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square (north plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery) after a successful run last year.
The movies will play every Thursday from July 6th to August 17th and is organized by the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association (DVBIA).

Each movie screening will include special activations to get the crowd warmed up before sunset. The 2022 movie lineup includes food trucks on-site, but organizers will reveal more details at a later date, including the 2023 movie lineup.
Last year’s movie lineup featured:
- Mean Girls (2004)
- Jumanji (1995)
- Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
- Moulin Rouge (2001)
- Space Jam (1996)
- Jurassic Park (1993)
- Dune (2021)
Activations begin at 5pm each night and movies will start around 9pm (close to sunset).
