Gift shopping in one of Vancouver’s most popular neighbourhoods just got a little more convenient.
The West 4th Ave BIA has announced they are offering free parking in Kitsilano for the holiday season. Enjoy 2 hours of free parking on Sunday December 7th, 14th and 21st between 9am to 6pm.
The free parking applies to the stretch of W 4th Avenue between Balsam Street and Fir Street.
“Linger a little longer, browse your favourite shops, and soak in the spirit of the season — on us,” says the the West 4th Ave BIA on their website.

The free parking applies to metered spots, and not to side streets, parkades, lots, no parking/stopping signs, and other parking locations in the area.
“Shop West 4th or any businesses are not responsible for tickets or payment,” adds the the West 4th Ave BIA. “Side streets not included. Parking is monitored, time after two hours or outside the listed times must be paid or risk of ticket.”
