Things to do in Metro Vancouver this long weekend
About: The PNE Fair returns this August, and they have a number of new exhibits and attractions you won’t want to miss out on! The PNE Fair opens for the 2024 season on Saturday, August 17th.
The 2024 PNE Fair features new exhibits and attractions as well as many of your favourite returning activities, including SuperDogs, Blue’s Dance Party, and of course, Playland rides.

About: A massive celebration of Japanese culture is once again happening in Burnaby this summer. The Nikkei Matsuri festival is being held at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre (NNMCC) from August 30 to September 2nd.
The festival features plenty of family-friendly fun, entertainment, live performances, food trucks, and much more.

Vancouver Aquarium’s Monster of the Abyss
