About: For 2024, Lumière Festival will showcase a variety of artists and their works of art, including international artists from from Switzerland, Finland and Spain. The interactive, light-based pieces will be displayed in more than 10 locations across downtown Vancouver. An open-air spectacle at šxʷƛ̓ ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square (Vancouver Art Gallery, North Plaza) kicks off this year’s festival on November 7th.

North Vancouver Remembrance Day Ceremony and Parade

About: Organized by North Shore Veterans’ Council Canada, the public is asked to gather at the Victoria Park Cenotaph by 10am. The parade will begin at the Armoury at 9:15am led by the JP Fell Pipe Band, and will arrive at the Victoria Park Cenotaph at 10:35am.

Following the ceremony, the parade will proceed up Lonsdale Avenue to 15th Street, turn west and proceed back to the Armoury on Forbes Ave.
