Maan Farms
About: As part of its annual Spring at the Farm event, Maan Farms is opening Canada’s first tulip forest in Abbotsford. Situated in the Fraser Valley, Maan Farms’ spring festivities include cute farm animals, a plethora of photo opportunities, seasonal treats, and more!
Guests of all ages can discover two acres of vibrant blooms that features a beautiful forest backdrop, perfect for all your spring-inspired photos. Capture that perfect shot with installations that include an enchanting mushroom house, ‘Hop Into Spring’ sign, oversized chair, swings, kissing booth, and butterfly wings!

About: Happening on weekends from March 27th to May 11th, the Sweet Spring Flower and Animal Festival welcomes visitors to enjoy more than 100,000 tulips in full bloom, a breathtaking ‘Tulip River’, Dutch-inspired sights like footbridges and a windmill, and take a train ride through their spring tunnel.
Things keep rolling along at the farm with Easter celebrations on April 12 and 13 and 18-20. Beginning at 9am each day, kids can hunt for eggs in the Greendale Apple Orchard, enjoy face painting, admire the farm animals. Adults can also get in on the fun by cozying up by fire pits, and enjoying seasonal food and drink features.

About: Colour Fest, a day full of play and laughter, is being held at Town Centre Park in Coquitlam on Saturday, May 10th. The outdoor event will feature music and dance performances, a Colour Zone, multicultural food trucks, and free art activities for kids to enjoy.

Survival of the Slowest at the Vancouver Aquarium

Richmond Night Market
About: The popular night market was founded in 2000, and attracts over a million visitors a year with its delicious lineup of international cuisine, entertainment, and more! The first night market was held at the Continental Centre on Cambie Road before becoming must-see attraction each year.
This year is extra special for the Richmond Night Market as its their 25th anniversary. To celebrate, night market visitors have the opportunity to take a ride on a 600-ft long zipline high above all the dazzling lights and energy of the market.

About: The Abbotsford Tulip Festival, put on by Lakeland Flowers, is scheduled to open on Saturday, April 5th, which is described as a “three-month cascade of flowers”.
This year’s event features 35 acres of tulips and lupins, creating a remarkable display of colour that will leave you in awe.
