One of Vancouver’s most popular Mexican restaurants, Gringo, is getting into summer fiesta season with some new menu items.
Its new North Vancouver location will serve as the launching pad for the brand’s new eponymous “Gringo Lager”. This locally brewed lager has been years in the making will be featured exclusively at Gringo’s North Vancouver outpost to begin. The lager will be available to-go in six-packs for $18 plus tax with take-out orders.
Gringo’s North Vancouver location is also serving up the new summer-centric Shrimp Luis Tostada dish. It has wild Pacific shrimp, romaine lettuce, red pickled onions and jalapeño crema for $5.25 each.
Another drink introduced at their North Vancouver location is the “Chihuahua” – a tongue-in-cheek twist on the beloved Mexican Bulldog beer and margarita mixer that comprises Gringo Lager dipped into a bucket of Margarita with a choice of tequila starting at $21.75 plus tax.

All three locations will also showcase a summer Tacos-and-Jarritos Lunch Feature. From 12pm to 4pm everyday, guests can choose between a three pack of tacos and one bottle of Jarritos for $14.50 plus tax, or a six-pack of tacos and two bottles of Jarritos for $27.50 plus tax.
Gringo’s Davie Village location will show its pride and welcome people to one of the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods with food and drink specials for dine-in service from noon to midnight daily from August 2 to 5.
