Gringo, Vancouver’s beloved Mexi-Cali eatery, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month and you’re invited to join them at their original Gastown location!

Founded in October 2013, Gringo quickly became popular along locals, prompting them to open a second location on Davie Street in July of last year.

Well, they’re at it again.

Gringo is set to open a third location in Lower Lonsdale on the North Shore.

“Gringo was opened with a lot of heart and basically no money. I just really wanted to build something where literally everyone could feel welcomed and enjoy themselves regardless of who they were or how much money they made. If you’d told me 10 years ago that Gringo would be where it is now, I honestly wouldn’t have believed you,” says restaurant founder Shoel Davidson.

“I’m just so honoured that there are so many people over the years that appreciate what Gringo is and always has been. A safe space where everyone are treated like people and not just a number. We are unbelievably excited to invite fans of Gringo to celebrate this milestone with us.”

To celebrate 10 years and Gringo’s new location, a tequila-soaked party is happening at their Gastown restaurant on Friday, October 13 and Saturday, October 14. The celebration promises a pink plethora of giveaways and an unforgettable evening of epic fun from 6pm to midnight both nights.

Of course, it can’t be a celebration without some awesome food and drink specials.
