The husband of 40-year-old Harpreet Kaur Gill has been sentenced to life in prison for stabbing her to death inside a Surrey residence in 2022.
On December 7th, 2022, police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 12700-block of 66 Avenue in Surrey. Officers found Harpreet in medical distress after being stabbed multiple times.
Harpreet succumbed to her in injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital.

40-year old Navinder Gill of Surrey, Harpreet’s husband, was charged with second-degree murder on December 16th, 2022. On June 22nd, 2023, Navinder Gill pleaded guilty to the second-degree charge.
Navinder Gill was sentenced to life in prison with no parole eligibility for 10 years earlier this week.
