There’s great news for local Hello Kitty fans in Vancouver. Canada’s very first Hello Kitty Cafe is set to open up in downtown Vancouver this summer.

Not much has been shared about the new cafe, but when you search up the cafe on Google Maps, it shows that it’ll open up at 1274 Robson Street, which used to be aSharetea location.

A Vancouver-based food lifestyle publication shared a video on Instagram that shows the secret cafe under construction.

“Not much info is out about the cafe, but it is safe to say that it will most likely resemble the food menu and offerings of its American counterparts,” states Noms Magazine.

Sanrio operates three Hello Kitty cafes south of the border: two in Vegas and another in California. These cafes operated by Sanrio serve delicious Hello Kitty-themed treats like cakes, hot and cold drinks, and cookies.

Anywhere Vancouver has reached out to Sanrio to learn more about this new Hello Kitty Cafe set to open up.
