As they have for many years, the Honda Celebration of Light fireworks festival will once again light up the skies over English Bay this summer.
On Thursday, organizers announced the 2025 dates for the annual fireworks festival.
The 33rd annual Celebration of Lights fireworks will take place on Saturday July 19, Wednesday July 23, and Saturday July 26. This year’s participating countries will be announced by organizers in the near future.

“The Honda Celebration of Light is being inundated with calls by Canadians from coast to coast, who want to make it part of their summer vacation plans,” said the festival on Instagram.
“Likewise, we are hearing from travellers in other parts of the world who want to make Canada their destination of choice.”
Team Pyrotex Fireworx, representing the United Kingdom, was named the winner of last year’s festival. Team Macedo Pirotecnia, representing Malaysia, and Team Pyro Tact, representing Portugal were the other two participating countries.
Over one million attendees made their way to downtown and other surrounding areas each year to watch the spectacular fireworks, and the same will be true again this year.
The 2024 festival was a historic one with the premiere of an electric drone show and a 50/50 draw with a take home jackpot of $13,372.50.
