Vancouver’s largest free music and arts festival is back this weekend and locals are being warned of road closures that start today.
The Khatsahlano Street Party is taking place on Saturday, July 6th with a lineup of artists, live entertainment, and food. The festival takes over West 4th Avenue between Burrard and MacDonald for a street party like no other! For 2024, the theme is #ShineYourLight.

Residents in the area and people looking to attend the festival are being warned ahead of time about several road closures in the area.
Street closures begin Friday, July 5th as organizers set up for the big event.
Streets that will remain closed beginning Friday include:
- 1900-2000 Vine
- 1900 Cypress
- 1900 Maple
- 1900-2000 Yew
- 1900-2000 Balsam
- 1900-2000 Larch
- 1900 Trafalgar
- 2000 Stephens
The streets above, together with West 4th Avenue between Burrard and MacDonald, and 1900-2000 Arbutus will be closed Saturday, July 6th from 5am to 9am.
Attendees will come across 50 food trucks, 7 stages, 6 beer gardens and so much more throughout the 10-block street party!
