On Tuesday, police announced a 32-year-old man is facing charges after a woman was found “badly injured” on an East Vancouver road more than nine months ago.
A 37-year-old woman was found injured on the road near the Esso gas station at Kingsway and Victoria just after 5am on March 30th, 2024.
Despite efforts by first responders, she died at the scene.
“Investigators from the Vancouver Police Department’s Major Crime Section continue to investigate the woman’s death, and ask anyone with information to come forward,” said Sgt. Steve Addison at the time.
In April, police released images of a vehicle that was believed to be connected to the woman’s death.
