A man was sent to hospital following a stabbing in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside over the weekend.
The stabbing happened outside a coffee shop near Keefer and Main Streets just after 11:30am yesterday morning. Responding officers located one man with injuries at the scene.
The victim, a 56-year-old man, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“Police believe the victim and suspect knew each other,” said Cst. Tania Visintin in a release.

No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
